dc.description.abstractThe paper examines research and extension activities carried out by the Maize Storage Team of the CSIR-Food Research Institute from 1981 to 1992. The team worked in collaboration with the Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MoFA) in five villages: Potsin, Ojobi, Oguakrom, Gyinadze, Gomoa-Mprumem, in the Awutu-Efutu-Senya and Agona Districts of the Central Region, with the view to help farmers adopt the improved crib for drying and storing maize. Farmers response and comments on adoption rate as well as problems faced by the Project Team are documented and recommendations are made for any future follow-up worken_US
