dc.description.abstract | The objective of this training workshop was to build the capacities of Women in Agricultural Development (WIAD) Officers and OFSP processors from the districts in the Central Region to enable them train farmers and other processors on the production and utilization of OFSP flour, fortification of gari and Fanti kenkey with OFSP. Promoting the utilization of OFSP will foster household food and nutrition diversification. Additionally, diversified OFSP products can also significantly contribute to generating additional household income, through the establishment and improvement of small-scale businesses and thus, contribute to improving livelihoods of poor families in rural areas. The various topics centered on the production and utilization of OFSP flour, business prospect and marketing of OFSP products.
