| Abstract: | The Collection Development Policy Manual for the CSIR-Food Research Institute is the first attempt at articulating the precise scope and policy for the food science and technology literature acquired and retained within the Institute Library. The Library also seeks to provide the best possible access to the electronic resources to which it subscribes and to other freely available information resources. The Collection Development Policy will be reviewed and updated as needed at least every five (5) years by the Librarian and a Library Committee as constituted by the Director of the Institute |
