This study assessed the information sources used by tiger nut (Cyperus esculentus) growers in Aduamoa in Kwahu East district in the Eastern Region of Ghana. Data was collected on sources of agricultural information, utilization of agricultural information, and constraints in accessing information from 150 tiger nut growers using an interview schedule. Results show that farmers mostly used radio and colleague farmers as their source of agricultural information. The tiger nut farmers have benefited from the use of information mainly on the application of fertilizer and weedicides. Poor public relations of the agricultural extension agents and language barrier were the main constraint to information access. The study recommended establishment of radio networks and information centres across the country as well as improvement of communication skills of extension agents for easy access and effective utilization of agricultural information by farmersen_US
