Abstract: This is a report of a rapid rural appraisal carried out to study the principal agricultural and food processing activities with a bias towards cassava, in Marfokrom. The six days field study was also an exercise in application of rapid rural appraisal techniques. The village was selected for the exercise on the basis of information gathered on cassava production and processing by the Food Research Institute in an earlier formal survey carried out in Akuapem South District of Ghana
