Abstract: | Frozen shellfishes have become a big demand driven export commodity in the Ghanaian economy. Products have often failed to meet standards of importing countries. To ameliorate this, the species, ecology, fishing grounds, landing sites, problems encountered, major exporters and revenue gained were investigated. The main fishing grounds lie between Cape Tirniris and Cape Esterias in the Eastern Central Atlantic Region including the Gulf of Guinea |
