Abstract: | The purpose of the participatory rural appraisal (PRA) was to obtain quick, detailed qualitative information on the production, handling, storage, processing and utilization of sweet potato in the district. This information could be indigenous or knowledge transferred to the farmers through extension and practiced over the years. The PRA was also to help involve farmers in the district on the project as participants rather than end-users |
